The library includes all of our guidance for planning and running your Australian Carbon Credit Unit (ACCU) Scheme project.
Types of guidance
Regulatory guidance aims to help you understand and comply with the laws governing the scheme. We use regulatory guidance to:
- explain how we interpret those laws, including the specific powers we might exercise under them
- describe the principles underlying our approach to applying those laws
- provide practical examples of complying with those laws, including how project proponents can meet their legislative obligations
- explain the specific compliance tools we use and when we’re likely to use them.
Regulatory guidance is not legal advice.
Educational guidance provides general information to help you participate in the scheme. This includes simple method guides.
