On 29 August 2022 the inverter serial number ledger (the ledger) will change. The changes impact how ledger users add and update inverter serial numbers in the ledger.
Change to ledger terminology
The ledger is being changed to reflect preferred solar industry terminology and remove ambiguity. The term 'Brand' will be replaced with 'Manufacturer'. You will need to amend the 'Brand' column headers to 'Manufacturer' in your CSV upload to successfully add or update serial numbers in the ledger.

Update the status of an inverter serial number
Ledger users will be able to update the status of an inverter serial number manually using the 'view serial numbers' page in the ledger. This change will help ledger users quickly access and report ineligible serial numbers.
