Translating service

If you need help in your language, you can use the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National).

TIS National is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Call TIS National on 131 450. An automated prompt will ask you which language you need. Then you'll be connected to a TIS National operator who will find you an available interpreter.

To talk to us in your language, tell the interpreter:

  • you want to call the Clean Energy Regulator
  • our phone number is 1300 553 542.

For more information, visit the TIS National website.

National Relay Service

If you're deaf or find it hard to hear or speak on the phone, you can use the National Relay Service (NRS).

There are many different types of service calls to suit different needs. This includes NRS chat, NRS captions and SMS relay.

You need to register to use this service. For more information, visit Access Hub.
