The Clean Energy Regulator welcomes Mr John Kettle

The Minister for Energy and Emissions Reduction, the Hon Angus Taylor MP, has appointed Mr John Kettle as a new Member of the Clean Energy Regulator Board.

John brings to the role a wealth of knowledge in the Australian renewable energy sector. He is a partner McCullough Robertson’s where he runs the international corporate, competition, trade and energy law practice.

John will continue his 3-year term to 2025.

The annual Clean Energy Regulator Stakeholder Survey 2022 is underway.

We’ve inviting our stakeholders, participants and clients to respond to a survey about their experiences working with us. The survey is important in helping the agency understand what we are doing well and where we can improve.

Please let us know your thoughts by Friday 1 April 2022. The survey should take a no more than 15 minutes.

Appointment of new Board member - Charles Kiefel AM

The Clean Energy Regulator welcomes Mr Charles Kiefel AM.

The Minister for Energy and Emissions Reduction, the Hon Angus Taylor MP, has appointed Mr Charles Kiefel AM as a new member of the Clean Energy Regulator Board.

He is the chairman of The Principals Funds Management, a private company focused on the wholesale investment sector.

Mr Kiefel’s extensive commercial experience includes financial advisory and asset management in Australia, London and New York.

Have your say on the Corporate Emissions Reduction Transparency Report

The Clean Energy Regulator is inviting views on the guidelines for the Corporate Emissions Reduction Transparency (CERT) report in a second public consultation.

The CERT report has been co-designed with industry and will support National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting scheme (NGER) reporting companies that choose to disclose emissions reduction and renewable electricity commitments and their progress.
