The Minister for Energy and Emissions Reduction, the Hon Angus Taylor MP, has appointed Mr John Kettle as a new Member of the Clean Energy Regulator Board.
John brings to the role a wealth of knowledge in the Australian renewable energy sector. He is a partner McCullough Robertson’s where he runs the international corporate, competition, trade and energy law practice.
John will continue his 3-year term to 2025.
The Regulator Board is the decision-making body for the Clean Energy Regulator consisting of a Chair and other Members. The Regulator Board is responsible for determining the agency's strategic objectives and policies which underpin its operation and performance to ensure it functions effectively.
Members of the Clean Energy Regulator are appointed by the Minister under the Clean Energy Regulator Act 2011 and are required to have substantial experience or knowledge in fields relevant to the Clean Energy Regulator. All Members hold office on a part-time basis.
