National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting season now open for 2025–26

The Emissions and Energy Reporting System (EERS) is now open for 2025–26 reporting.  

For 2025–26, companies that meet certain thresholds under the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) Scheme must report on their emissions, energy production and energy consumption by midnight (AEDT) Monday 2 November 2026. No extensions can be granted.

If you’re unsure whether you should be reporting under NGER, assess your obligations.
