December Large-scale Renewable Energy Target market data now available

The Clean Energy Regulator has released the December 2021 Large-scale Renewable Energy Target market data.

Highlights include:

• A record total of 1,117 MW was approved in December with accreditation start dates between January and December. This included the 5 following utility scale power stations:
• Hillston Sun Farm in NSW with a capacity of 119 MW,
• Western Downs Green Power Hub in QLD with a capacity of 460 MW,
• Sebastopol Solar Farm in NSW with a capacity of 111 MW, and
• Columboola Solar Farm in QLD with a capacity of 202 MW.
• Suntop Solar Farm in New South Wales with a capacity of 191 MW*.

* Please note - Suntop Solar Farm was incorrectly reported as being approved in November 2021. It was approved by the Clean Energy Regulator on 2 December 2021 with an accreditation start date in August 2021.
