The Clean Energy Regulator has released the December 2020 Large-scale Renewable Energy Target market data.
Highlights include:
- Metz Solar Farm (NSW, 115 MW) was committed.
- Rye Park Wind Farm (NSW, 400 MW) and Hawkesdale Wind Farm (VIC, 97 MW) signed power purchase agreements.
- Two utility-scale solar power stations were accredited with a combined capacity of 210 MW. This included the:
- Glenrowan West Solar Farm in VIC – 149 MW, and
- Jemalong Solar Project in NSW – 61 MW.
- Six utility-scale power stations, with a combined capacity of 748 MW, were approved with accreditation dates earlier in 2020:
- Wellington Solar Farm in NSW – 200 MW
- Yatpool Solar Farm in VIC – 106 MW
- Molong Solar Farm in NSW – 39 MW
- Middlemount Solar Farm in QLD – 34 MW
- Collector Wind Farm in NSW – 227 MW, and
- Crudine Ridge Wind Farm in NSW – 142 MW.
