The Prime Minister, The Hon Scott Morrison MP, together with the Minister for Energy and Emissions Reduction, The Hon Angus Taylor MP, have announced changes to the Clean Energy Regulator’s responsibilities and operations to streamline functions and make it simpler and easier for business to participate in emissions reduction activities.
The key change is that method development activities under the Emissions Reduction Fund will move to us from the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources, with streamlining and improvements to the way methods are developed.
We are working through the details and timeframes of these changes and will keep stakeholders and scheme participants informed.
