The Clean Energy Regulator has released the October 2020 Large-scale Renewable Energy Target market data.
Highlights include:
- The largest solar farm in Victoria has now been accredited with total capacity of 256.5 MW. This takes the total accredited capacity under the Large-scale Renewable Energy Target to over 2.8 GW.
- Western Downs Solar Farm (400 MW) and Sebastopol Solar Farm (90 MW) were both committed in October taking the total capacity committed in 2020 to 2.5 GW, more than the 2.3 GW committed in 2019.
- A further 357 MW of capacity had a power purchase signed in October. The total probable capacity is currently 2601 MW.
