  • Two new energy efficiency methods were released under the Emissions Reduction Fund in November, expanding the opportunities for businesses to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by reducing consumption of electricity and natural gas. 
    • The new Refrigeration and ventilation fans method​ credits emissions reductions from projects that improve the energy efficiency of fans in refrigeration systems; and/or ventilation fans servicing commercial and industrial buildings or the common areas of residential buildings
    • The new High Efficiency Commercial Appliances method provides opportunities for energy efficiency projects that install high efficiency appliances in commercial operations. Appliances covered by the method include refrigerated display cabinets, air conditioners, close control air conditioners and chillers.
