Bidding will open for ERF Auction 14 on Tuesday 5 April
The bidding window for the Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF) Auction 14 will officially open at 12:01 am (AEST) on Tuesday 5 April 2022.
The auction will run over 2 days with bids accepted until 5 pm (AEST) Wednesday 6 April 2022.
Confidence high in Emissions Reduction Fund
Australians can continue to have a high level of confidence in the Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF), according to the Commonwealth’s Clean Energy Regulator.
The Clean Energy Regulator Chair, David Parker, says the Emissions Reduction Fund methods and projects are internationally valued for good reason. Integrity is legislated into the scheme, and it is administered by independent institutions.
Consultation paper: Benefit sharing for the fixed delivery exit arrangement
On 4 March 2022, the Clean Energy Regulator (the agency) announced current holders of fixed delivery contracts will be able to pay an exit fee to be released from fixed delivery obligations to the Commonwealth under a new initiative offered by the agency.
