ANREU published information

We must publish Australian National Registry of Emissions Units (ANREU) information and alterations to the registry.

The Australian Government is required to:

• maintain a publicly available list of entities authorised by the Australian Government to participate in international emissions trading
• make the holdings of international units in ANREU accounts publicly available.

• Decision 13/CMP.1 Paragraph 44 of the Conference of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol

Alterations to the registry

We may make alterations to ANREU to correct clerical errors.

We are required to publish details of these alterations in accordance with section 19 of the Act.
