Register

There are 3 types of systems included on the register:

Model names in the register can differ from the marketing model name. If you can't find a particular model in the register, contact the manufacturer or retailer to find out the model name used.

All systems must be installed exactly as listed on the register. If a component is missed or changed during installation, the system won't be eligible for STCs.

The register shows the number of STCs for a 10-year deeming period. Learn how to calculate how many STCs your system is eligible for.

Model eligibility dates

The register lists the installation periods a model is eligible for STCs. Find the eligibility dates under:

  • eligible from – the model's certification date to Australian and New Zealand Standard (AS/NZS 2712:2007)
  • eligible to – the model's certification expiry date or the end date of the Renewable Energy Target on 31 December 2030, whichever date comes earlier.

Manufacturers must ensure that listed models continue to meet the criteria under the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Regulations 2001. By law, we must remove models in the register if they don't meet the conditions of a solar water heater.
