Notes for this publication
- The 2015–16 National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting dataset uses the updated global warming potential values introduced on 1 July 2015 through the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Regulations 2008. To allow for a like for like comparison, data from previous years has been adjusted to reflect updated global warming potentials for some reported gases.
- The information contained in this publication is as reported by controlling corporations.
- Cells with '0' value reflect instances where controlling corporations have reported zero scope 1 or scope 2 emissions.
- The Clean Energy Regulator may periodically republish National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting data to reflect the most up to date information available and in line with ongoing compliance activity.
- The Clean Energy Regulator takes all reasonable efforts to ensure the information published on its website is accurate at the time of publication.
- When considering total emissions between reporting years, there are minor changes to the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (Measurement) Determination 2008 and changes in the number of reporters and facilities that meet a threshold.
