The 2024 renewable power percentage and small-scale technology percentage have been set

The 2024 renewable power percentage (RPP) and small-scale technology percentage (STP) have been set by legislative amendment:

• RPP is 18.48%
• STP is 21.26%.

The amendment instrument and explanatory statement are now published on the  Federal Register of Legislation.

Under the Renewable Energy Target, the:

• RPP is set to meet the annual legislated target for renewable electricity
• STP aims to set demand to match projected small-scale technology certificate creations.
