The bidding window for the 11th Emissions Reduction Fund auction has officially opened!
The auction will run over two days with the hammer falling at 5.00 pm tomorrow, Thursday 10 September 2020 (AEST).
Strong interest in the Emissions Reduction Fund continues with 84 new projects registered this year, of which 35 projects were registered in the last 3 weeks! The Quarterly Carbon Market Report - June quarter released on 3 September 2020 also found that supply of Australian carbon credit units (ACCUs) from new and existing projects continues to grow and is expected to reach 16 million in 2020.
As always, you will need to bid competitively in order to maximise your chance of securing a contract.
All bids will be assessed in accordance with the carbon abatement purchasing principles, including the ability to contribute to least-cost abatement.
Important information for auction bidders

All bids must be lodged through AusTender using the ID and passcode provided to registered participants. It is important to note that all auction participants have confidentiality obligations relating to their bid and bidding strategies. These are outlined in the auction guidelines.
