The bidding window for the tenth Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF) auction has officially opened! The auction will run over two days with the hammer falling at 5.00 pm tomorrow, Thursday 26 March 2020 (AEDT).
To date we have already contracted over 450 carbon abatement projects and over 50 million Australian carbon credit units (ACCUs) have been delivered under contract.
For the first time at an ERF auction there will be two contract types on offer. In addition to fixed delivery contracts, we will be offering a new optional delivery contract on a pilot basis. The optional delivery contract helps to underpin investment in carbon projects by giving sellers the security of a contracted price for ACCUs, without the obligation to deliver should they choose to sell their ACCUs elsewhere.
Results from the tenth auction will be published on our auctions results page within five business days of the auction closing.
