The Auction Guidelines for the 11th ERF auction to be held over 9-10 September are now available on our website. These guidelines include information on both the Fixed Delivery and Optional Delivery contracts. We encourage you to familiarise yourself with these including the eligibility requirements for Optional Delivery contracts, which have been informed by recent public consultation. We thank all interested parties for their engagement with the agency and we are pleased to continue offering Optional Delivery contracts after a successful pilot at Auction 10.

A separate consultation process has also concluded late last week in relation to supporting the costs of soil sampling under the ERF. The agency will release the details of this approach well in advance of the September auction after carefully considering the feedback received.

Register your project now so you don’t miss out

Project registration is now open for the 11th ERF auction. While the auction itself might seem some way off, it’s important you register your project and submit a project application by midnight, 28 July 2020 (AEDT) in order to be able to participate in the auction.

Existing and new flexible contracting options will be available at this auction — so now’s the time to register your unique carbon abatement project and potentially win a government-secured contract in September. But you will need to hurry. The window is closing. Fast.
